Tea Buns
Makes: 10-12 tea buns
Simple but delicious buns with a hint of sweet
Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
- Optional ingredients: cinnamon, cubed apple, dried, fresh or frozen cranberries or blueberries, etc.
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Blend flour, baking powder, sugar and butter with pastry blender until crumbly.
- Add milk, vanilla and any optional ingredients you are using. Mix well.
- Drop by spoonful onto baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
